Full-time Financial Analyst to perform specific analytical and/or financial functions.

Responsible for conducting and documenting financial analysis on existing programs.

Responsible for researching, analyzing, and documenting new programs in order to ensure program compliance on all levels.

Assist with the assignment of program to Bookkeeper and ensure successful transition and assist with cross-training of department personnel.

Assist with the investigation of monthly general ledger activity and with year-end audit.

Effectively interact with outside independent auditors and assist with the coordination of the annual budget process.

Track budgets by program and ensure timely receipt and assist with special projects as assigned by Controller and the CFO.

Candidate must have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent with heavy emphasis in auditing and financial analysis.

Experience with month-end and year-end financial close procedures, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, detail oriented and highly analytical a must, must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, experience with Sage MIP accounting software is highly preferred.
